This is a long overdue blog post, but I have to post this before I post my next one! 2020 was definitely a strange year, and to think back on it now feels super weird. Despite how crazy the last year has been, it didn't stop life from moving on.
Cue in Monika + Kodi – a couple I initially met at Monika's older sister's wedding that I photographed back in 2019. Now these two have been together foooreeeever, having initially met at a camping trip by coincidence along the Vedder River. They were camping in side by side campsites; Monika for her friend's birthday, and Kodi for his friend's stag. Monika's friend knew one Kodi's friends who was at the stag, so all the guys joined the party.
Monika must have left quite the mark on Kodi since he ended up finding Monika on Facebook after the camping trip and asked for her phone number. He called her and asked her out on a date. After that...well...it's all history!
We spent a beautiful early evening out by the Vedder River for their engagement photos, hitting that golden hour just right. It was such fun hanging out with these two! Their wedding was scheduled for Fall of 2021, and since I am super late with this blog post, their wedding will be coming up next on the blog!
