I had just recently gotten my Minolta MC Rokkor-PG 58mm f1.2 lens cleaned and fixed and I finally got to play around with it. My lovely friend was willing to get up early with me and go to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival to take some test portrait shots. The flowers were all in full bloom and the vibrancy of all the colours took my breath away.
I am always in awe of how flowers grow, bloom and fade away, participating in this cycle of life over and over again. It is one of the many wonders of nature and such a testament of the versatility of life.
