Jerry Sulina Park Portraits

Updated: Mar 31, 2019

This photo session was with one sweet lady who I have had the pleasure of knowing for quite a few years now. I've seen her grow up to be this wonderful and beautiful woman after God's own heart. She is graduating this year (SAY WHATTT) and I know the Lord has so many amazing plans for her.

It was a gorgeous day out in Maple Ridge for this shoot, but it was still incredibly cold and windy. Nevertheless, we didn't let the weather stop us from having fun with this! I used a mixture of adapted vintage + modern lenses for this shoot. One was the Helios 44M 58mm f2 lens and the other was my beloved Fujinon 16mm f1.4. I love the look of the Helios with its unique swirly bokeh character. The Fuji 16mm was perfect for the environmental portraits to capture the beautiful expanse of the mountains in the distance. Thank you, Claire, for being your regular ole smiley self and brightening up my day!
